Series: Code-11 KPD SWAT #3
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: July 2, 2015
Lachlan Downy was a lover, not a fighter.
Okay, he wouldn't lie, he was a fighter, too. But nobody had to know that. Especially not Memphis Tennessee Conner and her stuffy attitude when it came to cops and ‘men like him.’
Memphis knew cops. Her daddy was a cop. He was also the president of a motorcycle club. Needless to say, he’s about as alpha as they come, and she’s tired of overbearing men who think they know how to run her life better than she does.
So when Downy comes into her life running his smooth talking mouth, she realizes that she’ll have to stand strong against his pretty words and promises to give her what she needs.
Downy is determined, though.
He’s the hostage negotiator for KPD SWAT, and he’s never met a person, man or woman, he couldn't talk around into his way of thinking.
Although, Memphis is about to show him just how much he miscalculated.
Seems Downy may not be as smooth as he thought, and Memphis is just the girl to show him the error of his ways.

I would like to say that I’m a huge fan of Lani’s and she has easily become one of my favorite authors. I have enjoyed every book I have read by her. Some I’ve enjoyed more than others.
Bang Switch was a great read. I didn’t like it as good as the first book, but I did like it more than the second book in this series.
I loved Downy and Memphis. I loved their relationship. And I loved the crazy banter between Downy and his teammates.
I love that in each of her books it’s what the guys job is that usually saves the girl.
And I love the relationship all of the characters have. Even if they’re not blood related they are like family and would do anything for each other.
I have not read a book with a similar plot to this book, so that was nice. But, the plot of this book isn’t for everyone. I am a huge animal lover, I am aware of things like this happening, but to read about it is different.
Overall, I liked the book. The plot was different compared to most books I read, which was nice. I honestly don't have one bad thing to say.
If you have read the previous books in the series, then you should definitely one click this book.
I’m really excited for the next book in the series.
I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.
