Goodreads Description:

Widowed rancher Cole Forrester is all about running his family's ranch and guarding his heart. The last thing he's looking for is love, but when his little sister can't make it home to handle some of her wedding details, he's forced to entertain the event planner, Melanie Simms. Melanie is everything he's not even remotely interested in: she's high-society, complicated, and high maintenance. But when he's stranded with her at his remote cabin in the Colorado mountains, he realizes he's seriously underestimated her. She's hiding something about her past from him, but despite everything, he finds himself falling for the last woman he ever expected, and the first woman to make him want to give his heart and risk everything...

This isn't the First book that I've read by Victoria James, nor is it the last. I love her book's. This one was no exception. I loved the character's in the story. I really felt sorry for Cole. He was just a guy trying to live from day to day after tragedy struck his family. Melanie, on the other hand is totally the opposite of what he is usually interested in. He thinks she is this spoiled little rich girl. Melanie is actually a broken girl who needs someone their for her. I liked that Each of their problems brought them closer together. They both needed someone but was to stubborn to actually admit it.

Overall I really liked this book. You see a broken family gradually start to heal. It's truly amazing. So I recommend this book and advise you to grab a copy.
