SYNOPSIS
Former child star Sierra Blake is making a stunning Hollywood comeback—and attracting a scary amount of attention. When her home is vandalized and her safety threatened, she knows it’s time to bring in the professionals. But from the moment she sets eyes on her indecently sexy new bodyguard, Sean Owens, Sierra’s thoughts are anything but professional…

Few things in this world scare Sean—until he realizes he’s in serious danger of losing his heart to his new client. No matter how much he wants to, Sean won’t let his feelings for the smart and gorgeous Sierra get in the way of doing his job. Because as the attacks against her escalate, crossing the line between business and pleasure could get them both killed.

"If you love tough guys with a side of sweet, strong heroines with a hint of wild, and suspense with a spark of humor, this is definitely the book for you. Every woman should be lucky enough to have a man like Sean Owens guarding her body. Tara Wyatt has created a swoonworthy bodyguard series with primal passion, unexpected twists, and surprising laughs!"―New York Times bestselling author Rebecca Zanetti
 REVIEW

3.5 stars

I liked this book, but it wasn’t my favorite…
So, I did like the book but I wasn’t in love with the characters. And usually I predict what will happen and sometimes and in some books it aggravates me and in this book it did. I did like Sierra and Sean, but something was missing from their relationship for me.
I really like books with bodyguards. The suspense in this book was great. It started right off and was throughout the entire book.
Overall, I liked the book, but it wasn’t one of my favorites. The relationship wasn’t one of my favorites either in a book. It wasn’t terrible, but it was also missing something…sparks maybe. The plot was good, the romance not as good.
I will be reading the next book in the series. I’m curious as to what happens between those two characters.
