*Synopsis*
Atria—Simon & Schuster bring you this addictive and steamy romance novel by the USA Today Bestselling Author of the Moreno Brothers, 5th Street, and Fate series.
Besides working three jobs, worrying about her family back home, and running from her past, the worst thing to complicate Bethany Amaya’s life further would be a romance. But after a second-run in with the irresistibly sexy detective Damian Santiago, that’s exactly what she gets. In the blink of an eye, she’s caught up in a passionate romance with one of the most intense men she’s ever met.
Awestruck for a second time by the beautiful and intriguing performer, Damian is both surprised and delighted that Bethany agrees to something he didn’t even expect to be asking for so soon—exclusivity. As things heat up, Damian’s skills of detecting and reading body language begin to raise suspicions—Bethany is keeping something from him. Try as he might to calm his suspicions, the blatant signs become impossible to ignore.
Some things are better left unsaid. At least that’s what Bethany keeps telling herself. She never imagined falling in love so quickly, and she refuses to get Damian caught up in her troubles. She knows what he suspects—sees it in those possessive eyes. With Damian’s suspicions mounting, time is of the essence. The race is on, and Bethany finds herself scrambling to fix the past before the truth comes out and Damian finds out that it’s much worse than he suspected.

I have read The Moreno Brother's and loved the series. This book was just as amazing and it also has a huge family. I love that about Elizabeth. She always writes such amazing books with a huge family. So as you can tell, I like books with big family's. I loved the whole thing about Desert Heat. Awesome characters, amazing plot, Suspense and Romance. The two main characters were awesome together. I really have not read a book like this. I was glad for a little change. Not much else you could ask for to make it a better book. In other words, I really recommend you read it. I hope this continues on and becomes a series. Can't wait to see what next.

*About the Author*
About me? Well, I was born and raised and continue to live in sunny southern California. I'm married and have two wonderful teens. My love for writing began when I was just a kid though, I never really had any dreams or aspirations of doing it for a living. Then along came the age of eReaders and I saw an opportunity to get my writing out for the world to read without jumping through hoops and getting past the red tape of trying to get traditionally published. The Moreno Brothers series has literally changed my life. I now wake up to go to work a few yards from my bed. 5th Street is my second series with 2 out Noah and Gio and two more to come. I'm currently taking a break from 5th Street to work on my next series Fate a spinoff of The Moreno Brothers series. The first one in that series Fate (Vince and Rose's story from Making You Mine) is due out this year.
I love hearing from my readers and try to always try to respond as soon as I can, but if there is a certain question being asked over and over instead of answering it 20 times I will post on my FAQ page so check there often! End of this year will be crazy for me between keeping up with the response to MYM and getting ready for my blog tour I'll be super busy so please bear with me if I'm not quick on responding to your messages/comments!
Elizabeth Reyes is a USA Today Best Selling Author.
Representation: It is with great pleasure that I announce that Jane Dystel of Dystel & Goderich now handles all questions regarding subsidiary rights for any of my work. Please direct inquiries regarding foreign translation and film rights availability to her.
