Review: Honor Reclaimed ( HORNET, #2) by Tonya Burrows

Title: Honor Reclaimed (HORNET, #2)
Author: Tonya Burrows
Release Date: May 27, 2014 from Entangled: Select
Source: *eARC from Entangled Publishing*
*Synopsis*
Former Marine sniper Seth Harlan is determined to prove that he can still do his job despite his ongoing battle with PTSD. When an old friend contacts HORNET to rescue a black ops soldier, Seth's stability is strained. He knows all too well what it's like to rot inside an enemy camp, praying for rescue and waiting for death. And he's not about to leave a man behind.

Photojournalist Phoebe Leighton just stumbled into the middle of an arms deal. Teaming up with a ragtag team of mercenaries is the last thing she wants to do--especially when she realizes Seth Harlan is assigned to the mission. He may ignite a passion in her she thought long dead, but Phoebe's hiding a secret that could destroy him.

With a bomb in the mix, HORNET's mission is suddenly about a lot more than an abandoned soldier. Racing against the clock, Seth, Phoebe, and the rest of the team struggle to stop a ruthless warlord bent on power, revenge...and death.

Oh how I love Tonya's Books. She is by far one of the best writers for Military Romance. This book was no different. I love the whole Hornet team. I also like that Seth was a fresh character. we didn't get to see him in book one.But we did get to see him in her other series, Wilde Nights in Paradise(Wilde Security, #1).It tells you a little bit of his past but not much. You cant tell he carries a lot of pain and guilt. Since I've read that, I wanted his story and finally got it. I really enjoyed the book.Their is also always something happening or another throughout the book.Never a dull moment.Which is why i love her books. When I first started reading about Phoebe I liked her, although there were a few moments I thought she was kinds Naive but she proved herself. Through out the book it shows the team developing and becoming what a team should be. At first I really disliked Ian but as the book went on, he proved he was much more than an asshole.

I am really looking forward to see's what next. I really think you should check out both of her series.

*About the Author*

Writing has always been my one true love. I knew since I was 6 years old that I wanted to be an author, but didn't finish my first novel until 8th grade. It was an epic sci-fi/fantasy/mystery/romance mash-up and writing The End was one of the proudest moments of my young life.

I haven't put down my pen since.

In college, after several false starts in more practical fields of study, I followed my heart and receive a B.A. in creative writing from SUNY Oswego. Now I'm working on a M.F.A. in popular fiction at Seton Hill University.

I spend most of my time writing, tinkering with my website, or reading. I love TV and movies and probably--okay, definitely--watch too much of both. Give me a good horror movie over a chick flick any day. (And, let's be honest, I'll take a bad horror movie too!) And if superheroes are involved, I'm so all over that. I'm a proud geek at heart and pledge my avid TV fandom to Supernatural and Doctor Who. I'm also a big fan of The Voice. What can I say? Guilty pleasure.

I share my life with my fur-babies: two dogs, Ella and Otto, and a ginormous cat named Nabisco. (Yes, like the cookie company. What? I told you I like my sweets, didn't I? No? Well, now you know. Hi, I'm Tonya and I'm a junk food junkie.)

I'm from a small town in Western New York, but I love to travel. Some might even say I suffer from a bad case of wanderlust. I say I don't suffer at all--I enjoy every second and I have a habit of moving someplace new every few years just to shake things up. Luckily, my animals are all excellent travel buddies.

Synopsis: Former Marine scout sniper Seth Harlan is new to HORNET and anxious to prove he can still do his job despite an ongoing battle with PTSD. He remembers all too well what it's like to sit inside an enemy camp, praying for rescue and waiting for death. So when a black ops soldier contacts HORNET to rescue a buddy who was left behind, all sorts of nasty memories strain his newfound stability.
When an interview with a runaway Afghan child bride leads photojournalist Phoebe Leighton to an arms deal involving a suitcase bomb powerful enough to wipe out a mid-sized town, she realizes this is one battle she can't win on her own. Forming an unlikely alliance with a ragtag team of military and government delinquents, she meets Seth, a sniper carrying as many emotional scars as physical, who impresses her with his steely will and ignites passions within her she thought long dead.
Suddenly this mission is about a lot more than an abandoned soldier. Racing against the clock, Seth, Phoebe, and the rest of HORNET struggle to stop that bomb before it reaches it's final destination: The United States.
