They tell you that a parent’s love is all consuming. I never put much thought into it. Not until the minute I heard her take her first breath. That little girl is my world. I’d do anything to protect her.
My ex signed over her rights and her family vowed that my daughter didn’t exist. Now that she’s gone, they want my little girl. They’re trying to say I can’t give her what she needs.
I’ve known Evan all my life. Our families farms run parallel with each other. He and my brother Aaron have been best friends for as long as I can remember.
What they’re trying to do is wrong. He needs my help, someone he can trust and I’m more than happy to do it. I volunteered without hesitation.
I should have thought about what it would be like to have our lives intertwined. I should have thought about what would happen when our time together ended and how my heart would feel when I had to walk away.

One
thing you can always count on in Kaylee’s books is she always delivers cute and
sweet romances. So When I need a cute and sweet romance I always turn to
Kaylee’s books because she never lets me down.
Southern
Pleasure wasn’t a disappointment either. I loved both of the main characters
(Kinley and Evan) and their families.
After
finding out Evan is going to be a father, and his ex-not wanting the baby Evan decides
he wants to keep her and raise her.
But,
being a single father can be a tough job with the mother out of the picture.
But, Evan does get help in the form of his best friends little sister.
Kinley
has had a crush on Evan since she was young. Evan hasn’t noticed her yet until
now….
I
honestly really really liked this book. I loved watching Evan face and concur
his problems with being a single father. No, Evan wasn’t the greatest at
everything, but that’s what I liked about this book. You got to see the
struggles that he faced and overcame. You got to watch him grow as a father.
I
loved Evan and Kinley. They were adorable together. I really liked where the
family was involved a lot in this book too.
Overall,
I really liked this book. I usually love Kaylee’s books so that wasn’t
surprising. If you want a cute and quick read Kaylee is the way to go.
