I always enjoy Kaylee’s books, however some I enjoy more than
others. Emphatic, I enjoyed, but it also wasn’t my favorite of her books
either. It wasn’t bad, I did enjoy. But the main character Logan, I know that
with her last boyfriend things didn’t turnout good, but I honestly hate when
they keep running. And Logan ran from Kacen. I mean other than that problem I liked
Logan. I liked how she was sweet and a little shy. And as for Kacen, I liked
how he wasn’t the usual Man whore rocker dude. I tell you, that was a huge relief.
Logan, after realizing her boyfriend of three years sleeps with
other woman when they are on a “break” heads to Hawaii with her best friend (a
present from both of their parents) meets Michael. Michael is on vacation to
get away from his job. But Logan’s best friend tells him their middle names.
Logan and “Michael” spend several days together, but on the last
night they spend together things get hot and heavy.
After Logan gets back from Hawaii, she’s expecting to hear back
from some of the places she’s put applications in and she does. She becomes an assistant
to a Mr. Warren. But it turns out that Mr. Warren is Michael, who is actually
Kacen. He also used his middle name in Hawaii.
Kacen stays away from her, but after a while he can’t. He shows her
that he wants her. But Logan is scare from her last relationship so she runs.
Kacen has to prove that he wants her for a long time.
If you have read Kaylee’s books then you know that she is like the queen
at writing cute and sweet books. Which is what love about her. And this book is
no exception. It has some sweet and cute moments.
I loved all of the characters in this book. I really hope all of
the guys in the band get a book. Because unlike Kacen they are extreme man
whores. And I can’t wait to watch them fall on their ass.
Overall,
I liked it. It was really sweet and cute. I liked all of the characters. I just
hated how Logan kept running from Kacen. I liked the mix up at the beginning. I
thought it was funny. I also love how the characters have family. Usually in
books they are either killed off or they are not worth crap. And Kaylee’s book
they are always good. I do wish that we would have seen more of his parents,
but overall it didn’t affect my outcome of the book.
