ARC Review --> Falling for His Best Friend (Out of Uniform, #2) by Katee Robert

Title: Falling for His Best Friend
Series: Out of Uniform, #2
Author: Katee Robert
Publisher: Entangled Brazen

Synopsis
Avery Yeung’s biological clock just went off early. Thanks to her family’s medical history, she’s running out of time to get knocked up. And the only guy within donating distance? Her overprotective—and irritatingly hot—best friend. So clearly she needs an anonymous donor…

Anonymous donor? Over Sheriff Drew Flannery’s dead body. While daddyhood will never be in the cards for a man with his past, Drew won’t let Avery shop for a “popsicle pop.” He’ll do what’s right for his best friend by doing his best friend. But only if they do it properly.

But there’s nothing “proper” about it. Between the bed, the kitchen counter, and against his squad car, Avery and Drew are having the hottest sex ever. They can’t get enough of it—or each other. And without knowing it, they’ve crossed the one line that could ruin their friendship forever…

I read the first book in the series a few months ago. I didn’t really love nor did I hate it. It was the same with this book.
I was really excited for Avery and Drew’s book. After what they did in the first book, well I thought that these two were a pretty perfect couple.
Now I’m not saying that I didn’t like the book, because I did. I was just expecting for me to like it more after reading book one and reading the synopsis for this book. It had a few hot scenes, but I need more from the characters.
I love that you get to see the previous couple in the book. And after reading this book, I’m really excited to read the next book in the series, which is Avery’s sister Alexis.

One thing that I did not like was towards the end of the book. The reason Drew breaks up their little deal. I personal thought it was stupid. You know if there is something wrong with the parents then there is 99.9% chance that the characters are going to use that excuse. Well Drew did. And I didn’t like it.

This is a quick hot read about best friends to lovers. If you’re into that sort of thing give this book a try.
I’m really excited for Alexis’s book.
Happy Reading!
