Synopsis

Regret . . . she's a snarky little bitch.

I’ve tried several times to regret the events that took place on June 5, 2008, but for the life of me, I can’t. I'd never regret the pain, the suffering, or the heartache because it ultimately led me to the place I am now. And I can’t regret the place I am now. What I still can't figure out is this: how is it possible that the single worst day of my life inadvertently became the very best day?

Five years ago my life was irrevocably changed.

Seventeen minutes was all it took—
to lose my best friend…
to lose the love of my life…

Seventeen minutes was all it took for the seeds of hope—the seeds of my future—to be planted in the worst possible way.

My name is Harley Thompson, and this is my story.

Review
4 stars

K.L. Grayson did a fantastic job with her Debut novel. I actually never heard of her until Lex Martin decided to give away some copies of her book. I read the blurb on goodreads and decided that the book was something I was interested in and entered the giveaway.

My thoughts…

I really enjoyed this best friends turns boyfriend book. Yes, we all love those books. Well, I personally do.
I loved everything about the book. But, what I loved the most was Harley was a nurse and Ty was becoming a doctor.
I loved Harley. She had something tragic and horrifying done to her, but you know what? She overcame that. She is a true survivor. She kicked its ass.
I loved their story. Ty and Harley are perfect together. I just wish they would have found that out a little sooner.
The other characters where one of the things I loved about this book. Levi, where do I begin? Well, he was also a very good friend to Harley and he was their when she needed him. I can’t wait for his book. Quinn, who is Harley’s girl best friend, was hilarious. She is the kind of friend every girl needs.
Overall, I really liked the book. It was a great debut novel. I really can’t wait to see what K.L. has in store next.
