Synopsis

A sexy category romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…

He’ll show this good girl the thrill of being bad…

Good girl Melody Merritt is ready to be bad. Fresh out of an unsatisfying ten-year engagement to the town golden boy, she’s determined to make up for lost time. And who better to burn her sterling reputation to the ground than Bluelick’s sinfully sexy new fire chief whose wicked gaze promises complete and utter domination? Yes, please.

Corrupting the prim and proper Little Miss Bluelick is the most action Josh Bradley’s seen since he transferred from Cincinnati to fast-track his career. He won’t let anything or anyone—not even the delectable Melody Merritt—trap him in this Kentucky-fried Mayberry, but when their searing chemistry yields an unexpected result, he realizes he’s started a blaze that's completely beyond his control…

I didn't notice that this was the second book in the Private Pleasures series until after I requested it.
This is Melody’s story, which you meet her in Private Practice (which still is my favorite!). You also met her swoon worthy guy, Josh, in Private Practice as well. These two sure are something.
I really liked their story. I mean I didn't absolutely love it, but I also didn't hate it. I thought it was a steamy, quick read with a side of some action. Because that what it was, Steamy, because let’s face it Josh is one dirty talking Fire Chief. And it is quick because after you start the book, you will not be putting it down and it only has like 250 pages. And action because, there may just be an arsonist in little ole Bluelick.
Well, You know how usually the action is usually front and center? Well this book it’s actually the opposite. In this book you get the romance first, with a little bit of action in the background. It really doesn't take from the story. You actually get a little extra.

Overall
If you like dirty talking fire Chief’s, good girls that want to be bad, and funny side characters. Well look no farther because this book is for you.
Recommended: Yes, Brazen fans, along with people who liked the first book.
