Beautiful Vengeance was one of my most anticipated books of this series. Kiyomi and Marcus were two characters that i was very curious about. Broken characters are just my cup of tea. And both of the main characters of this book is exactly what they are.

Now, everything does wrap up in this book. The architect wasn’t who i was expecting either. So that was a fun little twist i didn’t see coming. There’s action, romance, and of course vengeance. Definitely enough stuff to keep you entertained.

I enjoyed it. I think Kiyomi and Marcus were one of my favorite characters from this series.

I loved this book compared to some of her recent books. I just loved Jubilee and Zee. I loved them together. This book was just so much fun to read. I flew through it.

And of course it wouldn't be a Lani book without a little suspense, would it? I really loved that part of the book. Lastly it seems like there hasn't been really any suspense in her books, but i liked how she done this book.

Overall, definitely recommend this book. I loved the characters. Zubilee and Zee were great together. I totally shipped them together. And of course, there's some suspense in the book as well.

I had a feeling I knew who Ghost was, and I was totally spot on.

Ghost was always interesting to me. He reminded me of one of my all time favorite heroes, Maddox (Harper Sloan, anyone?). They both share similar traits that I love. Silent, mysterious, broody, alpha males, and they both would help their friends, no questions asked.

I honestly felt so sorry for the heroine. The things this poor woman went through, I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Overall, Beard Up was a great read. I loved Ghost's character. The mysterious and broody type all ways do it for me. Ghost had so many secrets. The romance and the suspense was spot on in this book.
I didn't rate it 5 stars because I hated how the heroine suffered. I just felt so sorry for this woman and her daughter.
