About Kristen:
Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. Lani writing cowboys was fantastic news to me. Ive been excited by the news since last year.
 
This book was refreshing getting to read just about the couple and there romance, and not any third party trying to kill them. 
 
I really enjoyed the characters. Codie was an enjoyable character. I’m glad that she was half Japanese. I liked seeing that Lani is giving us a little diverse characters. 
 
Ace was your typical alpha male. I loved that he went after what he wanted. He was protective of her. I loved how sweet he was with her. 
 
If you love Lani’s other heroes, i have no doubt you’ll love this series.

This was a book i was very excited to get. I very much wanted to see how Rowan’s love life panned out. I though the guy she originally liked was a douche. 
 
But, i loved the hero. He was great. He was the usual kind of guy you would expect to get from Lani. Strong, protective, and an alpha.
