I really enjoyed the first book in her new series. I liked Evander. I hated what happened to him. 

 

Kennedy, I liked too. But, one thing that made me not love her character was how she let her family treat her. I wished she would have taken up for her self.

 

Overall, it was a suspenseful book. I did like characters for the most part. I hated both of their families.
